The BMI Group application is an internally used application specifically designed to suit the needs of the company. The application allows them to generate daily work reports with regards to the sites and plants they manage.
The BMI App acts as a real-time operations dashboard, complete with full-bodied reporting and risk monitoring. The App was implemented on a National Scale for our client, collaborating real-time operations data for their head office in Bloemfontein, South Africa.
The system facilitates both branch based and national workflow, with high volume data capturing and online access for custom user groups.
The system, which is secured with two-step login verification, provides head office staff with both a bird’s eye view and a detailed breakdown of activities. Risk factors are managed by severity level, for which the system notifies
selected managers about risk and mitigation steps.
Head office managers can execute staff management and shift schedules for national branches, or track resources and parts down to the very last detail over time
The BMI Group website colors originated from the Material design concept. Contrasting color was chosen and incorporated into the design of the application.
The BMI Group is responsive allowing users to use it on a variety of devices from anywhere. This means a user-friendly way of getting things done on the go.
The main focus was to use the site on tablet devices to be used on the mining sites.
Our team of Design Specialists created the UI/UX designs. Material design elements were used to ensure a user-friendly platform that can be used by anyone.
